It's no AU, but I was describing it to someone who'd never read Naruto. Without having to give a back story of how the village works, Tsunade would be "Queen" and without explaining what Kakashi does or how they'd address him, he's a "black ops general" and "Lord [Character B]."

The plot really has nothing to do with the Naruto world, it's all about the melodrama.
