Fair enough! I actually considered those points when I chose these poses. While I was aware of Chin showing up with a shotgun in more than one episode, I wanted each member of the team to be versatile -- I didn't want Chin to only be able to hold shotguns or for Kono to only be able to kick people in the face. Specifically, I wanted Kono to be a badass with a big gun (with a personal preference for a shotgun), as in this picture. My only goal for Steve was for him to look as ridiculous possible, hence his too-serious kung fu stance. Chin's outfit and choice of gun also come from an episode. :)
