Treehouse Reversebang, Round 2

So,basically, I love: MAKING PROMPTS. DRAWING STUFF. FIC. I asked my flist to enable me, and it was super fun. (Stories from last time still in the works! Updates as events warrant!) I'd like to give it another go. :)

The basic idea
I will draw a picture of whatever strikes my fancy (constrained by fandom & character), which the author will use as a prompt to write a yuletide-length-ish story of whatever inspires her.

I'll hand over pictures as I finish them (via PM or email). Just send me an email (pentapoda at gmail) or IM me on ljtalk when you finish the story (in the evenings), and we can coordinate art and story posts. If for some reason you find yourself unable to finish, please let me know so I can post the picture. :)

If you are interested please comment to this post and let me know 1) fandoms (more options is better) 2) characters (I will feel free to pick any combination or subset of this list) 3) general genres you like/dislike, e.g. AU, peril, crossovers, no-bugs-ever-at-all-really, etc. THE MORE OPTIONS THE BETTER. ♥

I will cut it off when I feel I have a good number of requests I can draw to. I reserve the right to decide that our fandom tastes don't overlap enough for me to make you a prompt that we will both enjoy.

I am full up for this round, but I expect to do this again end of summer. Also, I admit I would totally read either of those fics (twice), but I am a bit burnt out on fannish boys as far as art. I don't think I could draw you a good picture. Thanks for being interested! It is really awesome for me to have people willing to collaborate on fannish stuff.

Also, which Pat Wrede books are those? I am afraid I have predictably read only the Enchanted Forest books. If I have overlooked something good, please rec!

Sorcery and Cecelia: the Enchanted Chocolate Pot Regency Era epistolary novel in a world where magic works. Wonderfully funny. There are two sequels, as well. The second book as as good as the first. The third isn't about Kate and Cecy, so I don't like it as much, but it's set in the same world, so it's a fun read.

Fandoms: SGA (anyone but Carson), Doctor Who (Donna is my favorite, but I would try anyone!), Leverage (no Nate), Firefly, Avatar: the Last Airbender or the Legend of Korra, Inception, Patricia C. Wrede (at least, the Enchanted Forest series, I'm not familiar with any of her other stuff), Earthsea (terrifying!)

Note: I'm basically listing all of the ones I've watched/read and loved. My experience in writing for most of these fandoms is limited, but I will give any of them a go!

Characters: Basically any of the characters unless otherwise noted are fair game! Any combo or pairings you like!

Genres: adventure! slice of life! crossovers or fusions! umm, exploring new worlds! I could go on, but I feel like I've already been overly broad...

I got the AMAZING picture prompt and am dying to have time to work on it. Of course, I somewhat unexpectedly decided to move in the last month, and so things have been chaotic. But I love it and I'm super super excited. I've been telling stories in my head, but haven't had time to get my hands involved. Also found the original source material when I was packing, and have been keeping it close at hand since...

If there's anything new to the list(which there is - a FULLY APPROVED addition btw), it would be easier to have the whole thing in one place. Just make sure you also include that comment about challenge accepting anything as a bad life habit. That was very important. ;)

Hey, hey, no worries. My comment was basically a housekeeping request. I have a word doc with everyone's request info and you are -- Okay, you totally aren't in there, actually, so I'm glad you commented, but that's just because I was waiting for you to make me a updated fandom/character/genre list. In my head, I absolutely consider you to be signed on and part of this round.

Could you give me that list now, and I'll cut and paste it into the word doc? Soon is good, but honestly, you got a month at least before I'd get to it.

Heyoo, here's what I said originally:

Fandoms I would merrily write include Merlin, XMFC (and just about anything in the X-Men movie verse, really), Doctor Who (new series, with a special love for Amy and Rory), Supernatural (Castiel has all my heart), or Inception (esp. Arthur & Eames & Ariadne b/c they are adorbs), aaaaaand, uh, X-Files! (I've only watched up to season 7 thus far since I am a late bloomer, but Scully is the bestest). And I think that's probably all the fandoms we have in common! (Are you into Sherlock? Not that I know of, but hey. Also that.)

I love cuteness and fluff and am basically made of complete fail when it comes to writing gen!fic so I guess I may as well say I love romance too. I am a sap.

I don't like... I don't think I've seen you draw anything I don't like?! I will generally also challenge accept anything. It's a bad life habit.

Crossovers are fun – I don't write them that often, though, except with Doctor Who, which crosses with everything.

And my additions, with all the hearteyes available, are Avatar the last Airbender, and Legend of Korra. <3
