I think I may have adopted a puppy in cat form, just based on the general energetic tailing-me-everywhere and running around my feet. If I'm not sure where she is, I walk into a new room -- she will come running to see what I'm doing. When someone comes to the door, she runs towards the stranger to check them out. Could be! There was an endearingly nutso kitten I was looking at too. He could instantly swithc from falling on his face, backflip play mode to purring, curl up, and cuddle mode the moment you laid hands on him, and then back to tearing around the room (and into walls) as soon as you put him down. As many times as necessary. When I chose her instead, of course I found out the nutso kitten was her kitten. Genetics -- they do work!
