When I watch Hawaii 5-O, I pretend that Kono is Lilo from Lilo and Stitch grown up.

Then I imagine the guys meeting her ugly-ass dog who does weird things. Chin says, "No, keep watching until you're sure you've just seen it read a sign. Now you understand the number one children's game of our family." Or some bad guys sending thugs after Kono. 5-O finds their mangled car, bent and punctured like a prop in a Superman movie, and Kono just says, "Bad crash, brah." Oh, also, then Kono flies a space ship.

The main canon obstacle is Kono's huge family, but I pretend that Nani married into David's enormous family.

I have not enjoyed that show much, but you just GAVE ME AN INCENTIVE TO MAYBE START WATCHING AGAIN. I want this to be true so fucking much.

Otoh I could just dig my Lilo&Stitch DVD…
