Help. Graphic design.

So, graphic design is not my strength, but I have been asked to make a team logo for RL folks. I can handle the picture part, but...

Is there anyone on my flist who is good with not only graphic design but specifically the text part of graphic design? I would love to ask for help or tips or anything.

We don't know each other, so you probably want to go with someone you're familiar with. But if you need another opinion, I'd be happy to help! :)

There's probably people who are more qualified to help you, I've studied Interaction Design (which has rather little to do with Graphic Design, just as a warning), but I have worked as a Graphic Designer before and used to layout magazines and have on occasion created logos, but it's far from being my main job. /context :)

Hi! I am sorry for the big delay in replying -- some family business jumped up that led right into me moving states, and well, the whole thing was suddenly delayed by a week or too.

Thank you for the tip -- do you know ringspells well enough that I should mention you or is she just a very talented person I should ping politely? (I hope that is not a rude question to ask. I am not naturally good at icebreakers, and I know my flist is such a mix of both options.)

Yes, all is well. Or rather, there was a funeral and grief but it's over and hopefully there can be recovery. I was closer to the affected people than I was to deceased. Thank you for your concern. :)

Ok! So, after all that delaying my team threw a sudden deadline at me for their logo (of last night), and within 12 hours I'd gotten 4 rounds of feedback. I won't need to ask ringspells for help on this one after all. I feel bad because you responded so quickly and then I asked you to wait again! I really do appreciate the offer of help, and since I seem to be drawing everyone's RL t-shirts and logos, so I hope you won't mind if I keep you and her in mind for concrit in the future.
