A. Yay! Fellow geonerd! I definitely drew several cartoon cross sections of rifts onto postcards and then went, "Er. I hope they weren't expecting a chibi. Because here is SCIENCE instead."

B. I am not too sure what you mean -- you didn't want fusions with other fandoms because you wanted straight up Pacific Rim fic? OR you weren't all that in love with the drift partner thing? BUT YES, MAKO. And I have gotten a bit burned out on the fusion stories -- too many of them just re-write the exact movie scene and change the names! Come on!
