Good to hear! Honestly, this is early enough that many people haven't started their stories even if they aren't pinch hitting. I might be a little more ":(!!!" if it were Christmas Eve. :P

Though it makes me curious about probabilities -- on the pinch hitter list, your new author is basically the first fish you hook, so I'd expect the more popular fandoms in my request list to be most likely to get a story. I don't know how it works at matching. Obviously there are more people who could write for the more popular fandoms, but the rare fandoms, maybe people offering those are harder to match, so that balances out? We've gotta have a bored fannish statistician somewhere, right? :P
