This is just a follow up post for the, uh, 'You and Me Reversebang' that I was mumbling about last night. Since people were interested (AWESOME. I LOVE MAKING PROMPTS, GUYS. Other things I love: DRAWING STUFF AND FIC), I wanted to be clear about what I am proposing. :)

What I will do
I will make you a piece of digital art of about this quality and size for a fandom and characters we both like. It will be new and made just for you and have some prompty goodness in it (like a tree house!). I will not post it publicly until you are ready to post a story for it.

What you would do
Write a yuletide-length-ish story prompted by the picture. It is your story, write it like you own it! I'm not imposing any constraints on it except those that were in your prompt.

Timing
No deadlines, but I am going to give myself until the end of May to get you guys your pictures.

I will hand over the pictures as I finish them (via PM or email), and you guys should feel free to post your story whenever it's done. Just send me an email (pentapoda at gmail) or IM me on ljtalk (which you can access via meebo messenger - I'm on in the evenings), and we can coordinate art and story posts. I'll make a master post whenever it all comes together.

There aren't any consequences either, but please let me know if something comes up and you can't do it so I can post the picture. :)

Crossovers Y/N? Any particular fandom? Y! I think Doctor Who is crossoverable with anything; I also have had this snippet of Psych/SPN in my head for approximately forever, so the voices are there. :D

Yay! That sounds great. And I'm glad we're in the same Nate-less boat. It felt whine-y to write, but at the same time, I couldn't legit write a story that cared about him a whole lot.

This is the most darling idea, and I would be incredibly interested, if you were still up for some extra folks!

Fandoms I would merrily write include Merlin, XMFC (and just about anything in the X-Men movie verse, really), Doctor Who (new series, with a special love for Amy and Rory), Supernatural (Castiel has all my heart), or Inception (esp. Arthur & Eames & Ariadne b/c they are adorbs), aaaaaand, uh, X-Files! (I've only watched up to season 7 thus far since I am a late bloomer, but Scully is the bestest). And I think that's probably all the fandoms we have in common! (Are you into Sherlock? Not that I know of, but hey. Also that.)

I love cuteness and fluff and am basically made of complete fail when it comes to writing gen!fic so I guess I may as well say I love romance too. I am a sap.

I don't like... I don't think I've seen you draw anything I don't like?! I will generally also challenge accept anything. It's a bad life habit.

Crossovers are fun – I don't write them that often, though, except with Doctor Who, which crosses with everything.

I think I'm going to keep the current to do list at seven just to make sure prompts stay fresh in my head, but I'll ping you in the event of round 2? The timing would be the same either way -- either I finish the 7 pictures and start on the next folks or I finish the 7 and then ask if anyone would like a round 2. :)

That said, I really like that fandom list. Amy and Rory! Arthur, Eames, Ariadne! Castiel! Scully, Scully, SCULLY. <3 And I am into Sherlock, though not up to date on episodes.
