Rough sketches: DW, Temeraire, Xmen, Smallville, Inception, Thor, XF, Glee
Rough sketches, brainstorming for the next two sets of prints.
From the top left, reading like a book: Charles/Erik (Xmen), Rory/Amy (Doctor Who), Kurt/Blaine (Glee), Thor, Temeraire + Laurence (Temeraire), Mulder/Scully (X-files), Arthur/Eames (Inception), Clark/Lex (Smallville). The damsel carry with the space ship is X-Files, but I decided I wanted Scully to be more badass, so I used the pose for Kurt/Blaine (Glee) instead. Clark is wearing only his cape and is frightened for his virtue. Eames is forging - that's a mirror. I haven't decided if Charles will have the wheelchair in the final version. Also, he won't look that doofy. Movie!Charles was optimistic and kind, but he was also in charge and nobody's fool, as well as delightfully flawed.
And that's that for now. I'm going to spend the rest of tonight drawing a very American Threadless shirt, sort of.
