For amezri, Lydia and Allison. I don't know why, but I always want to draw characters falling. In all fandoms. It's just fun. And Lydia could make it happen. In a Mary Poppins kind of way.

After I drew this, I thought to myself, "They'll be okay. It's a surprise Raksura AU." Which is a pretty small fandom overlap there, but I cracked myself up anyway. XD And also a sign that have been drawing a lot of Raksura fan art (reverse bangs! To be revealed soon!). :P

Oh, I just read this tumblr AU story for an anime -- you know the kind where the characters exist in the same morass of pop culture as the fans writing the fic. It was cute, but hahaha, I understood one in twenty references for all the internet pop culture the characters were into. I'm an old fan now. XD

I ship it so hard. And I want plotty future fic hijinks with trauma-bonding feels and science. I don't really buy Lydia going for it in high school (aside from trauma-bonding feels), she's too much focused on winning, her guy being part of that winning. She doesn't want to fight her social battles alone, protecting someone (well, not yet). But the thing is, when you leave high school -- guys like Stiles become a lot cooler. He's gonna be a grad school rockstar, and Lydia, I think Lydia is a graduate school kind of girl.



Oh, and also, important question -- if Methos came to Beacon Hills, would Lydia scream to foretell his arrival?

So I started watching Teen Wolf. This picture is Lydia Martin. She screams a lot and is my favorite. She has lots of personality, is super smart, and is very self-interested (as opposed to a protagonist who's limited plotwise to Doing the Right Thing, i.e. Scott and Allison), and gets to do eerie creepy things that freak her out. She is oodles of fun to watch.

Please give me recs! Tell me where the hangouts and challenges are! Though I've heard this is a one pairing fandom - Y/N? Maybe I can bribe people for Lydia fic? Ooh, how about team fic?! There's got to be that, right?

I hear fandom has a lot of Derek. My favorite part of Derek Hale is his total failure at life and leadership. (He hopes all his pack babies' problems can be solved by TRYING HARDER or CARING MORE - and he's wrong and there are consequences. I ♥ consequences.) I am making a wild assumption that fic!Derek will be... competent and/or smooth, even, and that will make me sad. So sad. :(

Also, I WANT LYDIA. And yes, Lydia/Stiles. Or Lydia/anyone. And teamfic. And world building. Tell me -- is there hope?!

I have 2 orphaned images from previous rounds of Treehouse Reversebang. (And thank you to those authors for letting me know they wouldn't be able to write for these - knowing was much better than not knowing.) These were intended to be prompts for stories, but I think they look pretty cool on their own.

(If you would like to write for one of these, let me know. First I will squee, and then I will take the image down until you can post image + story to AO3. Otherwise, like I said, I think they look pretty cool on their own. :) )

The first Hockey RPF treehouse reversebang story! It is a lovely synergy where the tone of the story matches the tone of the art perfectly, which makes me happy because I definitely had a moment of "SORRY, HERE'S A MOOSE." My favorite part of this is Geno because he is sly like a fox. ♥

Another treehouse reversebang story is done, and I love it. Methos and Natasha being paranoid and competent as they each try to figure out the other's secrets. I love how their different experiences (both quality and, uh, sheer quantity) inform their reactions - Natasha who spends her life trying to spot the knife headed for her back, compared to Methos, equally paranoid but who knows that there is life after survival. And if you expect to have a life on the other side, it is worth a little effort to cultivate friends, even the unlikely ones. ♥

Yes, she's blonde. Two reasons - 1) Black Widow is a spy. 2) It was originally drawn to be Amanda and I tossed a few alternatives if Rhi wanted to play with them. I am very glad she did. :)
