Escapadecon art: Hawaii 5-O, Doctor Who, Leverage, SGA, SPN, Highlander
AND NOW, PICTURES:

As previously stated: Hawaii 5-O is like SGA if Sheppard slept with real live women and was under the impression that he was the hottest shit to ever happen to Atlantis. Also, if Rodney talked all the time because he was good at it, not because he couldn't stop. And Teyla is a cylon.
ETA: So, how beautiful would it be for the H5O team to end up in an alternate universe where the H5O task force is run by the SGA team? No Stargate, no aliens, just -- John, Rodney, Teyla, and Ronon in Hawaii. As cops. John is even more bizarre than Steve and the governor can't stand him. He may actually be an alien. Danny has become some guy who hates everything about cop procedure and builds bombs. Chin's spot seems to be taken by a tiny woman named Teyla who rides his motorcycle like it's high speed meditation, and also swims with sharks. Ronon is... actually Hawaiian. The HORRIFIED STARING GUYS. Kono and Ronon are pretty okay with it though.

DOCTOR WHO, Ten and Eleven. The trick to an effective chibi is a simplified, recognizable feature. So thank you, Doctor Who franchise, for your bow ties, your pinstripes, and your hair. ♥

LEVERAGE, Parker, Hardison, Eliot. Personally, I'm going to wait until he adds the chocolate chips and isn't holding the spoon like he thinks he's armed.
AND NOW, PART II:

SGA is a lot like Hawaii 5-O if Steve could control Hawaii with his mind, and if Danny had mistaken his daughter for the entire field of nuclear physics. Meanwhile, Chin's emotional exile from friends and family goes downhill from there, brah.
In an H5O fusion, Teyla would totally be Chin, with motorcycles and tight-lipped family angst. Ronon is 100% Kono. I want to write a crossover just so Kono can meet this hot stranger, and John can control Hawaii with his mind -- ok, just the Ancient technology stuck in the volcano. Bonus if Steve knows him professionally and really doesn't like him.

SUPERNATURAL, Dean and Castiel. When Castiel walked into that barn and showed us his wings, I made a tiny, embarrassing sound, and then watched like a billion episodes of SPN. I prefer Castiel alien, unbending, and full of sharp-edged compassion. Which is why I drew the sappiest picture since kittens. Clearly.

HIGHLANDER, featuring prehistoric Death on a horse and a 16th century Scotsman. Scout's honor, I tried to draw Duncan with a box of kittens first. Somehow it was easier to draw his naked bum strapped to the back of a horse. Consensus says historical Scotsmen going commando is an accepted if unproven popfact, so I can post this mostly without shame.
Because Methos is my One True Character, I cannot mention his infamous past without linking to Adamas, That Which Survives, and The Reflecting Pool by Sylvia Volk, my three favorite stories of Methos and the horsemen. The first two in which they find him, and the last, centuries later, in which he leaves. Also, The First Horseman, in which Methos' and Kronos' paths come close to crossing once again... during the Mongol invasion.
For more Methos recs, see this entry. If there are dead links, let me know. I'll find one that works. If you don't know who Methos is, be wary of asking -- because I will tell you. I will tell you the whole thing. With links. And pictures.
ETA: I might have to make The Whole Thing into a post. With pictures, and highlighted episodes. Then
ileliberte, at least, won't be able to keep avoiding this important part of her fannish education.

And this may sound weird, but I am so happy your chibi!Steve is taller than chibi!Danny. I've seen other chibis (across fandoms) which are all the same height so this was an added bonus awesome for me.

These are adorable, btw. As much as Dean/Cas is my ultimate OTP, I think the Leverage picture is my favorite here. Why is Parker so gorram adorable?!

So... who is Methos?
(okay, I admit, I do know. But I want to see the Whole Thing. With Links. And Pictures. And a paragraph on the back of each one, explaining what each one was, to be used as evidence ... oh, wait. Wrong fandom...)

(And also to admit that I
totally stolewas inspired by your idea that Steve knows [John] professionally and really doesn't like him, and wrote this: http://scherryzade.livejournal.com/15852.html, for which I can only apologise.)no subject
