procrastination time -- prompts

Today, I grated my knuckle in a microplane. I got it into a band-aid so fast I don't think I even saw the damage.

Anyway, two things --

1. Short term: could you give me a prompt of character(s) and a line of dialogue? Any fandom, bonus for fewer slash OTPs and tropes, more character quirks, bff, girls, gen -- even het! etc.

2. Longer term: could anyone prompt me with some Star Trek (2009) prompts? Bonus for less Kirk, more Uhura, Winona, Sulu, Chekov, McCoy, etc...

Aw, all I can think of is tropes, like Ronon and Rodney: "This is another fine mess you've gotten us into" or something.

But for Star Trek, howsabout when they do finally graduate from the Academy? Because you know Uhura's whole family shows up and, like, her mom gives Spock the third degree and her little sister develops a giant crush on him. Or vice versa.

To be honest, the only trope I wanted to avoid was the assumption that a popular slash pairing was canon or inevitable since I'm not a true slash fan, so that sort of thing is totally fine. :)

Ooh, graduation! Interesting. What is Uhura's whole family like, do you think? I feel like at the end of this I am going to have to do more than one picture or I will feel like I missed so many opportunities.
