Delicious was recently bought by AVOS, and before the transfer of ownership everyone who wanted to keep their existing account had to opt in to the AVOS TOS. I feel like that was longer ago than 3 months, but maybe only just.
If you opted in to the TOS but still can't access your bookmarks, it would be worth contacting Delicious support to see if they can do anything about it. The site's been really screwed up since they relaunched and a lot of people have had weird problems with it. (A lot of people have also decamped to Pinboard and other sites.)
I remember an email a while ago about change, but I don't remember any new opting in, and I definitely did not see large letters (or you know, reminders? anyone?) like "ACCEPT OR BE DELETED." Jeez, Delicious -- I would have opted it. Arrgh!
The problem here is that yeah, they sent out a notice when they originally got bought. And it said something like 'transfer will take place X date, watch out for more info [the month before].' And then they sent an email about a week or so before the transfer, which could easily have ended up in your spambox, too.
I know there was a workaround to get back your files if you didn't opt in, but people were saying it wasn't going to last long, and eventually that loophole will close. If it's not on bookshop's post, check seperis? I don't use delicious, so I didn't bookmark it.
